Kent’s newly published five-year programme for highway maintenance shows plans for a huge list of improvements for the county’s 5,400 miles of roads. The plan includes resurfacing and preservation for nearly a quarter of them – 1,250 miles.
Improvements in the Kent County Council plan will cover not only roads but also streetlights, drains, traffic lights, bridges, tunnels, and trees. There’ll also be up to 85 miles of pavement improvements. KCC is presently carrying out a £10million pothole blitz and a big resurfacing programme. https://bit.ly/3d9AOCX
